“Spiritual jazz with one of Phoenix’s finest up-and-coming minds.” AZ Central 3.2.17-

Hello world and welcome on behalf of Geibral. Geibral Elisha is a professional musician, composer, producer, arranger, and actor. He was born and raised in Phoenix Arizona. He has composed and created all of his music. Some have viewed it as: jazz, electronic, fusion, classical and a few other genres. It all depends on the setting, listener, and songs performed. He is a masterful entertainer and a virtuoso performer. Always impressing audiences with an astounding technique, imagination, and beauty in his ability to paint vivid pictures with his music. Geibral has had the fortune and pleasure to play all over Arizona. Some locations include: The Phoenix Theatre, The Foundry On 1st, Asu, The Rhythm Room, countless private events as well as being featured on local TV programs. He has created musical compositions for client’s wedding videos, documentaries, as well as the TV program “EXTRA” (Time Warner). His debut album “The Music Before” was released in 2012 and was the result of emotions and experiences he began channeling into music from his adolescent-young adult life. His second studio album “The Next Dimension” shows the growth and change in his musical ideas. This album is less unsaid romantic feelings and heartbreak but more happy random feelings. Geibral took a step back and kept it less musically verbose. Choosing instead to focus more on harmonies and more imaginative concepts. In the summer of 2015, Geibral had the privilege to travel to London England. Over the period of a few months He had the opportunity to perform at The Spice Of Life, The Troy Bar, & The Piano Bar. He recently had the privilege of crossing over and making his debut in the world of theater. He was cast as Jimmy Powers best friend and accompanist of Billie Holiday in “Lady Day At Emerson’s Bar & Grill”. The show had a very successful run (March 16, 2016 – April 10, 2016) at The Phoenix Theatre. Geibral was also the Music Director of the play, and he was nominated for an Arizoni Theatre Award of Excellence for Best Musical Director as well as Best Supporting Actor for his work. Here is an excerpt of one (of several) reviews from valley critics about the production & performance

“…The show needed this kind of essence and immersion to succeed. Those characteristics allowed it to thrive on an individual plane. Comparisons to six time Tony winner Audra MacDonald on Broadway last year or HBO earlier this month were as superfluous in this context as comparisons to Billie herself.

If that was the story of last night’s performance, then supporting actor and jazz piano wizard Geibral Elisha as Jimmy Powers was an equal success…”

Geibral released “Rosa Blanca (Vol.1)” in Jan 2017. Geibral really wanted to pay homage to his favorite Jazz albums. The openness, warm hiss of the tape, the spontaneity of the playing, and hearing the instruments like you’re in the room with the band (actually like you’re witnessing a personal jam session). He didn’t want it to sound like a polished pop album, and it is being received well. He recently had a chance to serve as musical director as well as perform in “Lady Day At Emerson’s Bar & Grill” at the Red Mountain Theatre Co in Birmingham AL from February 2-5th 2017.
On May 1st, The Geibral Elisha Movement released the 2nd installment in the “Rosa Blanca Series” “Rosa Blanca Vol.2”. They will also be recording a live album on July 28th @ 7pm, at The Listening Room PHX (The Listening Room PHX (#GEM)
